John Hanewich loosens up prior to the MIT game.
It was the big catcher's dramatic 8th-inning grand slam
that brought the Beavers a comeback 11-9 victory over the Engineers.

Coach Gary Stockbridge unsuccessfully argues that a Suffolk runner was out on a close call at first base.

Mike LaCourt (19) is part of the greeting party for John Davitt (hidden) in the Beaver 7-run 8th-inning outburst that carried them to a 9-4 victory over Suffolk University.

John Hanewich is a menacing sight for the Colby hurler.
He later grounded out to the second baseman in this at-bat,
but had 2 hits and 2 RBI in the Beavers' doubleheader sweep over the Mules.

Second baseman Mike McGillicuddy makes
 a nice turn at
the keystone sack and fires
to first to complete a double-play against Bowdoin. The Beavers were on the short end of an 8-5 score vs. the Polar Bears.

Mike McGillicuddy ready to hit with the bases loaded in the sixth inning vs. Clark, with the Beavers trailing 6-5. On the next pitch, McGillicuddy belted a bases-clearing triple, with the Beavers eventually downing the Cougars, 8-7.

Jeff Ewing races to first on his way
to a two-bagger in the doubleheader
 sweep of Husson College.
Ewing had three hits and three RBI on the day to lead the Beavers.

3B Bucky Doherty guns out the Husson runner after making a nice stop of a hot ground ball, going into the hole to rob the hitter of a basehit.

Big John Hanewich awaits his
turn at bat vs. MIT.
